University Membership

Having a University Annual Membership to Divvy means 24/7 access to thousands of bikes at hundreds of stations across Chicago and Evanston. Use Divvy to commute to class, run errands, meet up with friends, or explore the city.

The cost of the University Membership is only $83 per year. You'll need to keep an active credit or debit card on file, and we’ll mail you a bike key that you'll use to unlock bikes.

Once you activate your key online or by phone, you’ll be ready to ride! Just dip your key into any dock with an available bike and go. Your membership includes unlimited 45-minutes rides.

If you take a longer ride, it is just $0.15 per additional minutes.

If you incur any usage fees, your card on file will be charged. The fee for a lost or stolen bike is $1200.
